Michail Kozamanis, M.D. , graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece in 2021. He also attended courses at Keio University (慶応義塾大学), Tokyo, Japan, after qualifying for a competitive scholarship funded International Exchange Program during the fall semester of 2019-2020. He also took part in one month observership exchange programs in the Department of Infectious Diseases, Yonsei University Hospital, Wonju, Republic of Korea ( 연세대학교 원주세브란스기독병원, Yonsei University, Wonju Severance Christian Hospital) in 2018, and in the Department of Ophthalmology, Hospital of Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha in the city of Albacete, Spain in 2019. He is a member of the In Silico Oncology and In Silico Medicine Group, Institute of Communication and Computer Systems, School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National Technical University of Athens. He has attended several congresses and seminars, on various topics such as clinical oncology and infectious diseases and has made a presentation in an oncological conference. He speaks the following foreign languages with varying degree of fluency: English, French, Spanish and Japanese (respective official language certificates obtained). He also possesses some (expanding) knowledge of German and Korean. He is highly motivated and eager to tackle new challenges and put his skills to the test. He is always open to new opportunities and the possibilities they present. His career interests focus on pursuing research in oncology, preferably from a basic science perspective, hoping to someday contribute to this rapidly evolving field of medicine.
