Research Professor Georgios Stamatakos gives a lecture on in silico oncology to the European Parliament, following invitation



On 21 February 2024, a European Parliament (EP) info event on in silico medicine and in silico oncology took place in the Altiero Spinelli building in Brussels with global live broadcast. G.Stamatakos gave the lecture titled «The Role of Computer Modelling and Simulation in Medicine. The Paradigm of In Silico Oncology», following invitation. In silico oncology, including digital twins in oncology, addresses the European Commission’s prioritized research area entitled “EU Mission Cancer”. Strongly supportive and even enthusiastic feedback was provided by individuals and entities residing in the European Union, USA and China.
